Your 1st point about framing time as money is accurate, but the inverse is also true. We see all money costs as time. "How many hours do I need to work to pay for that" keeps you from buying things that you can predict you will never actually use.

ive always said, that my life is like a game of chess, the bigger picture is the pros, and the now times, are smaller players that are not good. so I may not be right about small little things, but anytime its game changing, or to fix things ill tell ya like it is, and if you take my advice it will work. can not tell you how many people told me over the years, wish i would have listened to ya. the keep calm in harsh situations is a hard thing to learn, and go through in life. the trauma that is endured to be able to be able to withstand those situations. I dont fit in, and dont really belong anywhere, im very ok with being alone. my ex fiances mother was in bad people in life, and told me im a master manipulator, and she never met anyone like me. cause I was able to talk my way into anything.

That was me to a tee. But that thinking outside the box made stronger and more independent . People always thought I was older than I was by how I carried myself and the wisdom I have.

I have a "deep understanding of human psychology" only in that I understand that human psychology is not very deep.

Self-deprecation is not self-degradation. It's actually the opposite. I do it all the time, but only with people I am close to and who already know my weaknesses. And it's not for a cheap joke. It's for bonding with others who respect men who know their flaws and are comfortable in their own skin anyway.
